Contrary Polish Swatches and Bottle Pictures

Inky Fingers (purple with blue and green shimmer)

This polish is almost opaque in one coat and completely opaque in two.  These swatches show two coats Inky Fingers and one coat Seche Vite.

Purple Smoke (blue grey with purple and blue shimmer)

This polish is opaque in two coats.  I prefer wearing it in thin coats, to highlight the shimmer and increase wear time.  These swatches show two thin coats Purple Smoke and one coat Seche Vite.

Gilded Oak (plummy brown with golden shimmer)

This polish has more of a foil/metallic finish than the others.  The shimmer is predominantly gold, but there is a bit of multi-colored shimmer too.  These swatches show two coats Gilded Oak and one coat Seche Vite.

Creeping Moss (olive brown with pink and copper shimmer)

The first coat of this polish goes on semi-sheer (somewhat similar to a jelly polish), but it is opaque in two coats.  These swatches show two coats Creeping Moss and one coat Seche Vite.

Firebrand (deep raspberry jelly with red and pink shimmer)

This polish is a jelly/shimmer hybrid.  The first coat shows a light raspberry shade and the second coat achieves the bottle color of deep raspberry.  These swatches show two coats Firebrand and one coat Seche Vite.

Bright Night (deep blue jelly with aqua and silver shimmer)

Like Firebrand, this polish is a jelly/shimmer hybrid.  The first coat looks almost turquoise but the second coat darkens to a true blue.  These swatches show two coats Bright Night and one coat Seche Vite.

A few notes about the pictures in this post

All pictures were taken in direct sunlight in my backyard.  (Please forgive the reflections of the trees in some of the shots!)

I sometimes tilt the bottles to better capture the shimmer, so you may notice a few oddly-located air bubbles.  Also, if some of those bubbles seem larger than they should be, that’s because these are my personal bottles of these polishes, and all have been used for multiple manis.  Any bottles I sell will be filled to the bottom of the neck, so no worries there.  :)

Please see sidebar for details on how to place an order, and please let me know if you have any questions or comments.

Thank you so much for visiting my blog!
